The Australian Zionist Youth Council is the umbrella body of the six Zionist youth movements in Australia.
In addition to representing the movements publicly, the AZYC is also in charge of co-ordinating and organising Shnat, a year-long program run in Israel by each of the movements for members that have recently graduated high school.
The AZYC website was in need of a complete overhaul. I started with a blank slate, only keeping the “blue” theme from the old website, an homage to the ideological nature of the organisation.
A new palette of blues were selected, and a brand new website was created from the ground up, featuring a modern, clean interface with clear navigation and a straight-forward layout.
In addition to the front-end redesign, I also designed a custom-built registration system to manage the Shnat program online. The system allows Shnat participants to register and fill in some forms online, as well as print customised forms that require signatures.
Through a simple administration console, the AZYC can track and manage the registrations from early on in the process right up until the participants leave Australia. Additionally, the system can be used to alert registrants of changes and updates to the program, and to inform them of upcoming information sessions.
